Division Headed by Greg Garbe to Service Fortune 100 Company
Computer Concepts Corp. (NASDAQ:CCEE) announced today that its Professional Services division has received a contract in excess of $1 million to provide LAN technical services and support to a Fortune 100 company.
The contract positions Computer Concepts as a recognized provider of products and services to Fortune 100 companies in the banking and financial services industry, according to Greg Garbe, head of Computer Concepts' Professional Services Division.
Garbe stated "The trend in today's computing environment, especially with the demands placed on IT staffs by the Year 2000 date conversion issue, is to outsource many service and support functions heretofore performed in house. Computer Concepts began the Professional Services division to capitalize on this major revenue source."
Garbe added "There are many lucrative Information Technology service and support outsourcing possibilities in the insurance and brokerage industries, and we plan on targeting these industries as potential vertical markets in the coming year." -0-
