WRQ names Dick Dorton as director of North American sales.

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 1996--Dick Dorton has been named director of North American sales at WRQ, a Seattle-based software company.

In this newly created position, Dorton will oversee all WRQ sales groups in North America including territorial managers, sales associates, VARs dealers, corporate accounts, and sales support.

Dorton spent four years in sales and marketing for WRQ, previously as VAR sales manager and most recently as the general manger for European operations. Before coming to WRQ, Dorton was a sales manager at Cray Research and has worked at Digital Equipment, Hewlett-Packard and Reliance Electric.
